Onyi lets people send heartfelt digital gifts. You assemble a note, photos, a voice memo, a playlist, flowers, or a special date, and whoever it's for opens it as a series of beautiful, themed pages. v2 was a ground-up redesign and rebuild: a new creation experience, a themeable receiver, scheduling, and a more premium feel throughout.
I owned it end to end: the product thinking, the visual design, and the engineering across both the frontend and backend.
How I worked, and why it matters. I built Onyi v2 as a one-person team, pairing with AI as my engineer. I set the vision, made every design and product decision, and drove the craft through relentless iteration, while AI turned those decisions into production code at a pace no solo builder could match. That's the point. I don't hand designs off and hope they survive the build. I direct the whole thing, from the first pixel to the shipped screen, with AI as leverage. The taste and judgment are mine; the speed is what modern tooling makes possible.

What you send is exactly what they get: As you build a gift, the actual recipient experience updates live beside you. Not a mockup, the real pages, re-rendering in real time. It removes the biggest anxiety in gifting: not knowing what will actually land.
Gifts that feel personal, not templated: A themeable receiver with 20 distinct looks that reshape color, texture, and type, so every gift feels made for the person getting it rather than stamped from a mold.
Less friction, more feeling: I reworked the creation flow to cut steps, and added the ability to schedule a gift to arrive on the day that actually matters.
One coherent feel: The whole product speaks a single visual language: calm, tactile, considered. It holds together precisely because the same person designed and built every part of it.
What it demonstrates. A product designer who ships real, production software, and who works the way the best small teams now do: one person with strong taste and judgment, using AI to build across the entire stack. Design that survives to production, because there's no gap between the person who designs it and the person who ships it.
